Here are the specifications for your images that will go into the book. These files are due on the server before 3:00 on Tuesday, April 16.
1. Please provide images that have the same aspect ratio of the originals. That means that if you crop, do so proportionally.
2. Resize your images so the shortest dimension is 5" and the resolution is EXACTLY 300 dpi. If you add handwritten text beneath your picture, please increase your canvas .75" then add your text. If you want text, but don't intend to add it directly to the image, please include a text file with your other files and the text EXACTLY as you want it.
3. You should interpret each of your pictures with adjustment layers and sharpening (sharpening handout here: Download HowToSharpen). Make proof prints to verify the final print quality. Prints in the magazine will be a fairly close match to the prints you make in lab.
4. Your image should be converted to "sRGB" color space. This is something you'll do as a very last step. I will demonstrate how to do this simple procedure today: EDIT > Convert to profile > sRGB.
6. You will give me an unflatted psd.
6. For your four daily pictures (part two of the project), please name your file with your last name, then the sequence number for picture (e.g. Wolfe01.psd = my first daily picture).
7. Please name your two other pictures (from the first part of the project) with your last name and the letters A and B to distinguish between the two. One of my files would be called WolfeA.psd.
8. Please place your six image files in a folder labeled with your last name, and put it in the "SEE FINAL IMAGES" folder on the class server.

It wasn't there because I hadn't made it. But now I have! Thanks for the heads-up.

I can't seem to find the "SEE FINAL IMAGES" folder in the class server. Could you possibly direct me to it?
