Here is the handout for our next project.

After I go over it briefly at the start of class, we are going to take a trip to the library to tour Special Collections to get an orientation. Please bring your cameras to class on Thursday. We'll use them as part of an exercise on rephotography and panoramas.
The libraries two web sites, both useful for research, are:
http://archives.csuchico.edu/cdm/
and
http://opac.csuchico.edu (add "photo" to your search)

Alex,
Good question. If you like the picture you chose, and the rephoto promises to be interesting, I'd figure out a workaround. We can discuss what that might be, but there are always options.
Part of this project is learning about how to respond to obstacles (literal and figurative) when they occur.

Byron,
I went back to my site to try and better match the original spot. I think I found the spot, but there is a tree blocking my shot. Should I pick a different photo, or what is a work around?
Thanks,
Alex
