Byron Wolfe

For those of you in Byron's lab section, Ryan compiled notes of our haiku discussion. Keep the following impressions and words in mind as you make and edit your images for this project. Any other thoughts or notes to add? Let me know.

Here are some of the notes from the Haiku discussion today..

From all directions
Wind brings petals of cherry
Into the Grebe Lake

- coming together
- in a moment

The spring day
Lingers
In the pools
- Moments
- Looking back on life
- Growth
- Transformation

A lovely thing to see
Through the paper windows's hole
the Galaxy
- Seeing new perspective
- Galaxy = Foreign
- Obscured light

An evening cloudburst
sparrows cling desperately
to trembling bushes
- shelter from environment
- tension between powerful and delicate

Thanks Ryan!
Byron

I think perhaps this one is not in correct form:

Green plum –
it draws her eyebrows
together.

Perhaps better:

Green plum -
it draws
her eyebrows together.
